Proposed Short Term Rental Bylaw
- The Waterscapes strata council believes that Waterscapes should be occupied by predominately long term owners and tenants. Due to a permitted secondary use of hotel/motel in the RM6 Zoning by-law some owners plan to rent their homes as short term rentals. This is not encouraged by the strata council but in order to ensure compliance with the City of Kelowna By-laws the proposed bylaw once approved by a ¾ vote of the owners will be enforced by the strata council.
Key Fob Recall!!!
- Good news... our supplier has agreed to pay for a total recall of our key fobs. If you have an old style fob you are entitled to exchange it for a new style at no chargy. We currently have our first batch of 200 new fobs to exchange.
Privacy Guidelines for Landlords and Tenants
- Can a landlord as to see a tenant's payslip or ask for a criminal record check? Can a tenant's refusal to provide this type of information affect a tenant's eligibility to rent property?

Notice - Visitor Parking
:
The occupancy of Skye Tower and Osprey buildings have necessitated greater enforcement of the visitor parking area. Visitor parking in the Skye Tower area is monitored and in order to provide visitors with a parking place we must ask residents not to park in the visitor area. We have issued numerous notices and we have now begun towing resident vehicles parked in the Skye visitor area.
